Don't hang up on customers!!
Pay attention to the customer, it's a Customer Service store, they gave a wrong headlight, having to return to the store WITHOUT checking if it's correct or not. Terrible attitude and hung the phone up when I called them about the light being wrong. Go outside and double check the part and don't lie saying I swore, I had a witness. Never going back!

Great service from Adrian
Great service from Adrian In Seymour Connecticut. He really helped me in a timely manner. He cleaned up the cable connectors from the old battery, put in the new battery and made sure everything was working and got me out within 15 minutes. Super great job.

Kailua-Kona AutoZone rules!!!
Kailua-Kona Autozone rules!!!! Saturday afternoon, my car battery gives out in Walmart parking lot, mind you, bought a new one during covid and haven't traveled much. A kind good Samaritan immediately got his jumper cables, while another popped the hood. I am Blessed 🙏 The battery was kaput & I was trying to figure where it was purchased, the kind Samaritan gentleman stayed with me, driving from Autozone, to O'Reilly and Delco (closed on Saturday). Autozone staff was well informed, kind and considerate, as we tried to figure where the battery was purchased from. When it came down to it, I had to buy a new one, the difference AutoZone and O'Reilly, at same price, was light and dark. O'Reilly staff was rude, disrespectful and unhelpful of a kupuna, SHAME on them. And for the 3rd time back to AutoZone, again was the same kind, helpful manner and installed my new battery. Same price, completely different experience, I'll go with the positive, honest, kind, respectful customer service everytime of AutoZone, wouldn't you?

Gar Gar the Caveman & Christopher M are excellent AutoZone ambassadors!
I recently had the pleasure of interacting with the AutoZone team at Store 1213 in Evanston, Wyoming. My mother, who is 91 years young, had issues with the battery in her 2014 Subaru Outback. The battery, which was OEM, had failed. I was able to charge the battery enough to make it to the AutoZone store in Evanston. I asked the AutoZone team if they could please test the battery for me. Gar Gar the Caveman initially tested the battery. Christopher M also tested the battery. Both Gar Gar and Christopher agreed that the battery needed to be replaced. I subsequently purchased a new battery. I asked if they could install the battery. Without hesitation, they said they would be happy to do this. The weather at the time was rainy and cold. Gar Gar and Christopher expressed that the rain and cold would not deter them from installing the battery. Christopher said it was important to help my mother. After the battery was installed, Gar Gar and Christopher assured my mother that all was good. They wished her the best. My mother was thankful for their kind help. AutoZone can be very proud of the Evanston team. Gar Gar and Christopher were stellar! Thank you!!

Worst company
Between the store and online orders worst company to deal with. If you are able to order something from them it most likely is the wrong part. Also somehow you are able to go through the entire ordering process to just get an email a couple days later saying the part is unavailable.

No help when oder online
Yes I place an order on line, I noticed that my apt number wasn't on it, totally my fault. Secondly the store it said I was ordering it from was landover Maryland. I call the 800 number to see if I could correct my address he said no, I asked if I could go to the location an pick up he said no. I'll never use the online order again

Terrible
Went in to buy wipers 62.00 came up with windsheild wash with them I said is that free he said yes,no it wasn't its on my receipt didn't realize it until I got home called the mgr he was just as bad as the guy that helped me God don't like UGLY! Don't go to Auto Zone On 211 in Middletown NY unless your A man know about everything, THESE PPL ARE SADDDDDDD!

Out of his way
First, I would like to say I went to advance auto. I walked in ask them if they could get me the size of the nut for my CV joint. They laughed and told me no there's no way of looking that up. I left mad I went to AutoZone, which is right up the street on Jefferson Avenue and walked in AutoZone gentleman by the name of Matt asked me if there is something that he could help me with. I told him that you probably can't, but I'm gonna ask you anyhow is there anyway you can tell me the size of the nut for my CV joint he went straight to his computer punched in my year and make of my car and then he gave me exactly what I wanted i was going to buy the socket but before he would let me do that he even went and got the nut off the shelf and made sure that i was buying the right socket for the job. So I'd like to say thank you to AutoZone for being there when I needed you and thank you matt for taking your time and listening to my question before telling me you can't help me

How easy is it to get a hold of customer service at AutoZone?

It's not too hard to find someone working inside Autozone. What's hard to find in Autozone is someone who doesn't argue with a person who is qualified to work on practically every vehicle and knows what they're talking about. I guess that being a computer jockey makes them a certified mechanic.

Is AutoZone a scam or a legit company?

Nope. Bunch of ameteurs. Even their oil and windshield wiper fluid is way overpriced. If you want your order to be fulfilled correctly, them go somewhere else. Amazon is too incompetent to handle even basic orders placed via their app. Customer service list tells you "Oh well". Pathetic.

What made you choose AutoZone over similar businesses?

If not in any particular hurry, I prefer to wait for 3-5 days to get my auto parts which was ordered on Hexautoparts. Com. They has lowest price with the most cooperative customer service. I saved a lot of money with HexAutoParts.
